Answers to Your Questions
What Is the Living Hope
Christian Fellowship?
The Living Hope Christian
Fellowship is an ethnically
diverse congregation that loves Jesus and loves living and sharing
the good news of Jesus with others. Although we make our homes in
many communities across Northern Virginia, suburban Maryland, and
Washington, D.C., we commute weekly to Vienna to fellowship with
others who share our enthusiasm for Christ.
What Kind of Music Do
You Have?
We have a strong emphasis
on traditional worship. Most of our Praise and
Worship hymns are from the Celebration Hymnal, with an occasional
audio CD presented for special occasions. We are accompanied by pianists
and occasionally orchestral instruments, especially when our college-age
youth are home from college.
Where Do You Meet?
We meet in a Knights of
Columbus hall in downtown Vienna, Virginia. The building is a
former church, looks like a church, but has been used by the Knights of
Columbus for several years.
What Do You Wear?
Some of us wear our
"Sunday Best," and others prefer to be more casual. The type
of clothing is a
personal preference. God looks at the heart, not our outward appearance.
What Do you Have for
the Children?
We have Sunday school
classes for the children every Sunday morning beginning at 10:00. Our teachers
are very dedicated to bringing the children to Christ in a fun and
meaningful way. The children join their parents for the worship service.
We also have special events throughout the year which are designed to be
fun, educational, and teach the children about Jesus.
Do You Have Classes for
Adults?
We have Sunday
Discipleship classes for adults every Sunday morning beginning at 10:00.
Do You take Communion?
We partake in communion on
the first Sunday of each month to celebrate the life, death, burial, and
resurrection of Jesus.
Are Visitors Expected
to Give an Offering?
Visitors are our guests,
and as such are not expected to give an offering.
Do you have food?
We almost always serve
coffee, and snacks are usually available -- some of us habitually
skip breakfast, and enjoy something to tide us over.
